A. Casalena: Thanks for commenting. I ask my Twitter followers what they thought about squarespace customer service and all the responses were positive. Whatever kinks you might have had in the past, it looks like you fixed them.

I also contacted your customer service minutes after your presentation in regards to some important features I look for in a blogging platform and they responded promptly with all the answers I needed.

I'm looking forward to experiencing squarespace. I might let go on Wordpress and switch over (ssshhh don't tell them). And I think is great that you outreached to Julia Roy. She's a power user and a great ambassador for any platform or application that she uses.

Hey Yianni,

Thanks for the kind words about the software, and I'm in agreement with your insights about the interaction. I extended Julia an email earlier and am looking forward to hopefully having a dialogue. My emotion stems from how seriously I take our support and what we do.

You guys look like you work on some interesting projects, so drop me a line as well if you're considering Squarespace anything.

Thanks!

Lol, that bit about Julia being in the audience is well funny.

I've been using Squarespace since Nov 14th 06 according to my user area and have 1 other website hosted with them which I will be using to host a eBusiness in about a month and I must say that I've never had any issues with their services, customer or otherwise.

The few times I have contacted their customer services to inquire about eShop modules and adding in a custom domain I've gotten quick, concise (which is unusual in online help services) and helpful replies via a forum thread type support ticket system. No trouble.

I would highly recommend their services for a cost effective and time economical means of hosting a website.

I only know c++ for making game demos of my game designs and I was able to produce www.DragonsLegacy.co.uk, a personal/portfolio website/portal, in about a day using MS Excel for background images and formatting, after learning how to use their old website customization UI.

Na, Casalena did a silly thing and I don’t know where Julia got the bad customer services rep thing from but I totally disagree.
