I giver her new video a B+. Her look and her music is so original…Her new video, not so much. Her dancing wasn’t amazing and I feel like I’ve seen this before. The naked body covered in diamonds (Britney), the subway dancing (90s videos).
Nonetheless, her east coast, NYC, I don’t give a fuck attitude is a refreshing shift from the west coast, over produced, water down, pop I’ve been getting for the past 2 years. She produces her work, is involved in her costumes, lyrics, dances… She all over it. I can’t wait to see her in concert in March 31st at Terminal 5.

I just had a mini panic attack. Where did the Shared Items app go?! Not to worry, It’s called Links now.
Why is it called Links now? I don’t know. Facebook should be spending their development efforts on necessary updates like allowing fan page administrators to send messages to single fans rather than the whole fan base. Or how about having the option of doing limited profiles when you friend someone rather than having to set it up after you friend them, leaving you wondering if you boss saw that video of you drunk on the streets in the 2 minutes before you put her in the limited profiles list. Unlikely, but possible.
A way around that (which I’ve been too lazy to set up) is by setting up Lists. You can assign different privacy settings to each friend List. For example, When I friended my mom, I put her in my “no tagged pics” List to avoid comments like this:
“I see you’ve been drinking a lot this weekend. Drink some water and call me in the morning – Mommy Dearest”
Another Sneaky little Facebook update that my friend Haib just showed me – The new “Like” and “Unlike” button on Posted Items Links. Facebook gone Digg.
I just found out a “secret” through Perez Hilton’s new SayNow account – Perez is going to be part of Britney Spears’ Circus tour. I don’t really give a shit but what’s interesting is that the “gossip gansta” is using this new mobile voicemail service to provide early scoops along with celebrities such as Katty Perry, Souja Boy, Bow Wow, Ciara are others.
Here’s what SayNow.com is all about according to their site:
* Call to hear directly from your favorite stars (Yes it’s really them.)
* You can also send messages, hear from other fans, and maybe even get a call back
* We won’t charge you for calling.
* Everyone’s real number stays private. You WON’T be spammed.
Is this the future of mobile marketing? I listened to a few of the messages that people left for Perez and it sounded mostly like teenage girls. A lot of “OMGs”, “I luv you Perez” and “This is the coolest idea!!!”. One guy said it was the stupidest thing he’s every seen and I almost felt compelled to agree with him until I took a step back and realized that I was on the line, listening to people’s random messages to Perez (I have to admit – some were very amusing).
What do you think of this service? If you’re a celeb gossip junkie, would you call Perez to get early scoops before he writes about them? Would you call your favorite artist to hear their voice and their latest updates?

Coldplay playing Lost and Viva la Vida. I didn’t care much for the Jay-Z interlude but I guess with his B topping the charts he has to do something to keep up.
Still recovering from her family tragedy last Fall, Jennifer Hudson earned a standing ovation for her powerful ballad “You Pulled Me Through” on Sunday night. Rihanna might be getting beat up by Chris Brown but no Holywood diva has had it as rough as Jennifer Hudson. This was phenomenal.
