Last night I had two memorable discoveries on YouTube:

1. I was disturbed by Martha Stewart’s sick and twisted baby food costume video.

2. I noticed a new button under the commenting box labelled Audio Preview. Press it and your comment will be read back to you by a text-to-speech program. The audio conversion sounds a bit robotic and awkward but I go a kick out of it when I wrote the following comment on Martha “go back to prison” Stewart’s video (click on the image below for a video of the audio preview):

Based on a Twitter search for audio preview it looks like this has been around for about 24 hours.

In the viral, an actor play a gay guy who tells his clueless girlfriend that he was hired by a viral marketing firm to date her because she is a “social connector” in order to create buzz for the film “The women”. It’s pretty funny, especially to people in the ad/marketing world, as it takes target audience insight to the extreme and pokes fun at the obsession to “make viral work for you” in a funny way.

The “Avril Band Aids” are deceptively working to drive the video for Girlfriend to YouTube’s most watched top spot – #1 most viewed video of all time.

The number one position currently belongs to that ‘History of Dance’ clip, which we’re sure you’ve all seen many, many times.

Avriltards have sent out emails to fans to get them to watch Avril’s video as many times possible AND set up automated YouTube view-boosting sites.

The pages automatically reloads Avril’s video every 15 seconds, so as to rack up as many hits as possible, and a letter from the site advises fans to keep a browser window open all day with the page in it.

Seriously? Avril and her droid of retards suck. Do everything in your power to stop this. Watch the evolution of dance, email it to your friends, post it on your Facebook posted items and MySpace profiles, blog about it, send it out on Twitter.

Pushing 50 doesn’t stop Madonna from going “on and on and on”. Feroc.

Happy “Barack Obama Rocks” day! Have you ever wondered what your face looks like when you’re suddenly inspired and profoundly moved? I knew this speech was going to make me feel those emotions so I recorded myself watching the video and caught the moment.

One of my YouTube idols, PunchRobert, just posted a video about an all too familiar issue – dudes that are not gay but are way too touchy. Coming from an island of overly touchy straight guys (Puerto Rico), I can attest to TADS.

Why we have rabbits during Easter

Rabbits are a powerful symbol of fertility and new life, and therefore, of Easter. The Easter Bunny, like Santa Claus, has become a popular children’s character. But it may be that the Easter Bunny is something of a historical mistake.

Why we shouldn’t  

Although it may be tempting to give a child a rabbit as an Easter gift, rabbits don’t actually make very good pets for children. Rabbits don’t like to be held and cuddled — it frightens them. Because of this, children often lose interest and the rabbit ends up neglected or abandoned. Rabbits require just as much work and attention as a dog or cat, and most live at least 10 years.
